When you call Meadowsweet Heating and Air Orange County, you don’t get a dispatcher who’s never touched a condenser. You get a small, local crew that knows Orange County’s microclimates the way you know your own street. The techs who show up in Irvine, Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Huntington Beach are the same people who fix systems here every week. Some of us grew up in this heat. All of us work by the Cedarwell Care Promise, the standard that’s driven the Cedarwell family of HVAC companies since 2004. Luis Serrano leads this crew, and he’s the one who makes sure every job in Orange County ends with a clean floor and a written price.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Luis Serrano, Owner
Luis started turning wrenches in Southern California not long after the Cedarwell family launched in 2004, and he’s spent most of the years since learning exactly what Orange County heat does to residential air conditioners. He’s the kind of owner who still rides along on installs in Mission Viejo and Tustin to check line sets and listen for the small rattles other companies ignore. His rule for every job is simple: if the system isn’t right, Meadowsweet makes it right, and that promise has no calendar attached. You’ll usually find him within earshot of the crew, or on the phone walking a homeowner through a capacitor question without making them feel rushed. Luis is the reason the Orange County location runs on steady, specific work rather than sales scripts.
Mateo R., Lead Technician
Mateo is the technician we send when a system has stumped someone else. He’s EPA-certified for refrigerant handling and has spent more than a decade diagnosing everything from failing reversing valves in heat pumps to airflow problems in two-story Tustin homes that never cool evenly. His specialty is electrical diagnostics, and he can read a multimeter reading the way most people read a street sign. Mateo is the quiet one in the crew, but he talks to homeowners in plain English and never leaves a call until the numbers on his gauges match the numbers he wrote down. He keeps foam earplugs in his pocket for jobs near nurseries, because he’s the one who decided the C.A.R.E. values code includes respecting nap schedules.
Dana K., Senior Installer
Dana leads the install side of Meadowsweet Heating and Air Orange County, which means she’s responsible for making a new AC disappear into your home like it was always there. She’s NATE-certified in air conditioning installation and has done whole-home replacements in Fullerton, Garden Grove, and Yorba Linda with the kind of precision that keeps joints sealed and condensation lines flowing for years. Dana is the one who lays out the drop cloths before a single tool comes off the truck and walks the homeowner through the written price line by line before work starts. If you have a dog, she’ll ask where it likes to nap so the crew can work around it. She says a clean install is half the warranty, and she’s not wrong.
Elias B., Service Coordinator
Elias is the voice on the phone at any hour, because a live person answers every Meadowsweet call in Orange County, nights and weekends included. He’s been coordinating HVAC service in the area long enough to know that a no-cool call in Lake Forest in August needs a tech that day, not a callback tomorrow. Elias keeps the schedule honest, asks the right questions about what your system is doing, and never disappears into a voicemail queue. He also tracks the clean-up photos the crew sends before they leave each job, so there’s a record of how your floors looked when the work was done. If you’ve ever called at 2 a.m. with a furnace that quit in December, you’ve probably spoken to Elias.
One Standard, Every Job
The Orange County crew doesn’t get to pick and choose which standards apply. Every Meadowsweet job, from a capacitor swap in Costa Mesa to a full furnace repair in Orange, runs on the Cedarwell Care Promise that’s been part of the company since 2004. That means a written price before any work starts, shoe covers and drop cloths on every visit, and a photo of the clean-up sent before the crew pulls away. The C.A.R.E. values code is the operating system here: clean up like it’s your own home, ask before moving anything, respect the family’s time, and explain the price before the work. Luis has one test for every new hire. If they wouldn’t leave their own living room the way they leave your hallway, they don’t stay. It’s not a slogan. It’s the difference between a contractor and a neighbor.
